Role Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. You will be responsible for all payroll reporting and accounting. This includes compiling the data, reviewing and submitting Labor and Payroll reports reconciling payroll-related balance sheet items and supporting in accounting functions.
With over 10000 employees providing visibility on payroll and its impact on the business is essential. You will post journals, create reports and review payroll data to ensure its integrity. You will capitalise on your existing payroll experience to ensure you bring insight and efficiency to your reporting.

Responsibilities
- Analyse fortnightly and monthly payroll data in order to prepare and post payroll journals
- Prepare and post payroll accruals and adjustment journals
- Investigate and explain payroll cost discrepancies (Actuals vs Budget)
- Preparation of monthly payroll-related balance sheet reconciliations (e.g Leave Liability Provisions and payroll clearing accounts)
- Other ad hoc duties to support the finance team and workforce team.
Candidate Profile
To be successful in this role you will hold a relevant degree and are either CA or CPA-qualified or in the process of completing your studies. The successful candidate will have experience in a large organisation within a high-volume data environment. You are highly energetic and looking to develop your experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have exposure to a large payroll system and have intermediate Excel skills with experience managing large data sets.
