Job Description

Reporting to the Finance Operations Manager, this Senior Financial Accountant will work closely with business and operational leaders by reporting on financials and providing insights into business performance. As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be accountable for overall operational delivery for the finance team as well as ensuring the local teams delivers to the desired timeline for month end.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the month end processing including preparation of journals and reconciliations
• Preparing and analysing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports as required
• Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information
• Assisting with budget and reforecast processes in conjunction with financial controller and internal stakeholders
• Management of three direct reports
• Comply with Australian Accounting standards
• Liaise and build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Various ad hoc reporting from time to time
• Work collaterally to continuous process improve the finance function

Candidate Profile
Being either a CPA or CA qualified Senior Financial Accountant, you are a top performer and have been part of a large, local or globally organisation. Intermediate excel skills will be required for you to be successful in this role and a proven ability to manage large volumes of transactions and reconciliations.
