Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire AP Function, ensuring prompt payments to vendors, and managing the process of recording, reporting, and approving invoices in accordance with company procedures. 

Working with the Finance Manager to provide reporting on payments. You will also resolve payment issues, process invoices, reconcile accounts, and communicate with vendors. Additionally, you will collect data for monthly metrics.

Responsibilities 

  • Serve as primary contact for Vendor, Procurement Team, and Site inquiries.
  • Prioritize tasks for timely completion of critical assignments.
  • Identify and communicate potential issues or risks to the team.
  • Emphasize accuracy and timeliness in all processes.
  • Adhere to established policies and procedures, understanding consequences of non-compliance.
  • Participate in relevant Risk Management activities.
  • Solve outstanding issues related to accounts payable.
  • Maintain Vendor Ledgers and ensure timely invoice processing.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and Vendor accounts, assist with month-end closure.
  • Manage Vendor files and records, address queries promptly, and provide payment forecasts

Candidate Profile 
For this role problem-solving skills are essential, as is proficiency in time management, organization, and prioritization. Knowledge-wise, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, accounts payable processes, office administration, and basic accounting principles is required, alongside an understanding of regulatory standards and compliance. You should have a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in accounts payable, preferably within a shared services environment, and familiarity with Large ERP systems is advantageous. 

You must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with strong interpersonal abilities and sound judgment. You must excel in stakeholder management and be adept at handling multiple priorities.
