Role Overview
Reporting to the Financial Controller, this Finance Analyst will be responsible for the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts, provide vital insights on strategic goals and support the wider finance function in essential month-end reporting. Capitalise on your exceptional Excel and Power BI skills to ensure effective translation of your findings and a high impact across the business.
Support in monthly management reporting, Pricing processes, and regional reporting as well as assist with the consolidated reporting. This role will give you the opportunity to provide vital financial insights to key stakeholders within the business.
Responsibilities
- Support with monitoring the business to drive improvement through financial models and Power BI solutions.
- Support month-end reporting.
- Support budget and forecast processes.
- Support with the price increase process.
- Support the development of structures and processes for business performance.
- Analysis of the group's strategic goals and financial development.
- Support improvement and challenge existing models/processes.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for groups and branches. Support for management reporting including monthly variance analysis, contract portfolio movements, and commentaries for local directors and head office.
- Track the performance of acquired businesses against earn-out targets and business plans and provide updates to management and business vendors.
- Initiate, drive and follow up ad-hoc projects.
- Support for accounting structures assuring the possibility to measure and monitor the business.
Candidate Profile
You are highly energetic and ambitious, wishing to be in a critical role driving performance for a business. You are Accounting or Commerce qualified with either a CA or CPA (or in the process) and have strong experience in a Financial/ Management accountant role or Analyst. With exceptional communication skills that you leverage in shaping positive working relationships, you are flexible in working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. A passion for continuous improvement and taking things to the next level is at the core of who you are. Your stakeholder engagement skills will ensure your success. You have strong data skills and an analytical mind which drives your insights. Advanced Excel and Power BI skills will be highly regarded.
