Role Overview
Reporting to the Finance Director, this Finance Business Partner will be responsible for the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts, provide vital insights on the group’s strategic goals and support the wider finance function in essential month-end reporting. Capitalise on your exceptional Excel and Power BI skills to ensure effective translation of your findings and a high impact across the business.

Support in monthly management reporting, Pricing processes, and regional reporting as well as assist with the consolidated reporting. This role will give you the opportunity to provide vital financial insights to key stakeholders within the business.  With a focus on building best-in-class reporting and processes, this role will allow you to have a huge impact almost immediately.

 

This role will support finance system transformation, improve month-end processes and partner with operations and supply chain to bring connection between finance and the wider business and ensure strategic decisions are being led by insightful and accurate data.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Business Partnering with executive stakeholders to uplift the analytical capability within the business.
  • Responsible for delivery of Financial and project-related data and Customer insights, ensuring the elevation of reporting needs to the wider business.
  • Creating and overseeing advanced reporting dashboards and visualisation that can be used for internal and external purposes including any improvement and openly challenge any legacy models and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify reporting and governance requirements and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and privacy laws.
  • Work with the external system partners with regard to any data, systems and structural changes.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of both operational and financial systems, reviewing and validating data outputs to ensure accuracy for senior management.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand BI requirements, building and maintaining dashboards and visualisations used across the business.
  • Educate team members on how to interpret and use dashboards effectively.

 

Candidate Profile
You are highly energetic and ambitious, wishing to be in a critical role driving performance for a business. You are a commercially savvy Finance Business Partner with an Accounting/Commerce qualification and have a strong understanding of the merger between data, financials and strategic decision-making. You will bring exceptional communication skills that you leverage in shaping positive working relationships and you are flexible in working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment. As a Finance Business Partner, you will bring an entrepreneurial flair and a passion for continuous improvement and taking things to the next level. Furthermore, you have strong data skills being able to utilise Advanced Excel including Macros and VBA.  Exposure to data languages such as DAX and advanced Power BI capability. You have solid experience and understanding of foreign currency exchange and its impacts on the business.
