Role Overview

Reporting into the Finance Manager, this TM1 Consultant will be working with finance teams to understand the business needs, translating these into technical requirements and designing the subsequent solution in Planning Analytics. You will implement, optimise and maintain the Planning Analytics solution, ensuring that there is alignment with organisational goals.

Responsibilities 

• Develop and refine IBM Planning Analytics models to meet business objectives.
• Ensure smooth integration of data sources and optimize system connectivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues impacting TM1 functionality.
• Offer training and ongoing support to end-users to enhance system usage.
• Partner with IT and Finance teams to improve the overall performance of TM1 solutions.

Candidate Profile 

The ideal candidate for the TM1 Consultant role will have extensive experience in IBM Planning Analytics and a strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. You will be proficient in designing, developing, and optimizing TM1 cubes, processes, and rules, as well as managing data integrations. The successful candidate will be proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions. You will also have a solid background in system design, database management, and a keen eye for detail, with the flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements.
