Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Team Lead who thrives in a dynamic, high-volume environment. Reporting to the Credit Manager, you will take ownership of the end-to-end AR function, overseeing billing, invoicing, reconciliations, cash allocation, dispute resolution, and collections while ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

As a leader, you will manage and mentor a team, providing guidance, performance feedback, and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Your strong problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and technical expertise will be critical in driving team success and ensuring seamless AR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team  Accounts Receivable Officers, providing training and support
  • Oversee the end-to-end AR process, including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, and dispute resolution
  • Monitor overdue accounts and drive effective collection strategies
  •  Ensure customer accounts are onboarded and maintained with accuracy and efficiency
  • Maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships, addressing queries and disputes promptly
  • Review and optimise AR processes, implementing automation and efficiency improvements
  • Generate and analyse AR reports to support financial decision-making
  • Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations

 

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of leadership experience in Accounts Receivable within a high-volume environment, along with strong ERP system proficiency and intermediate Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs).You are confident in navigating complex AR processes, working with multiple systems, and leading a team to success. Your ability to streamline workflows, coach team members, and enhance collection efforts will be critical in this role. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach will set you apart.
