Role Overview

This is not a standard FP&A position. You will be joining a specialist technology consultancy where your finance background and TM1 skills will be put to work on real client solutions. Day to day, you will support, enhance, and help deliver Planning Analytics models across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, while steadily building the consulting skills to go with them.

The business is committed to developing this person into a Planning Analytics consultant over time. You will have access to industry-leading training, vendor certifications, and hands-on mentorship from experienced practitioners. If you have the TM1 foundation and the ambition to grow, the pathway is there.

Responsibilities

• Support, maintain, and enhance TM1 and Planning Analytics models across budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Work with stakeholders to translate financial requirements into practical Planning Analytics solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve model efficiency, automation, and data integrity.
• Collaborate with technical consultants on enhancements and integrations.

• Build client-facing skills alongside your technical development.

Candidate Profile

You come from a finance background, whether in FP&A, commercial finance, or a similar role, and you have become the TM1 go-to in every team you have worked in. You understand budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, and you have enough hands-on TM1 experience to know how a well-built model should work.

You are not looking for another reporting role. You want to deepen your technical skills, get closer to how solutions are actually built, and work towards a career in consulting. Exposure to PAX or PAW is a plus. Python or SQL experience is welcome but not required.
