Location: Western Sydney, NSW
Salary Package: $570-$630 Per Day + Super

Role Overview

Reporting into an Executive Manager, this Senior Finance Analyst needs to partner with our FP&A team to maintain existing financial models and create new ones in Power Pivot and Power Query while acting as the key link between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will also need to lead the discovery, definition, and documentation of current and future state processes for future business improvement initiatives

You will need to leverage complex data sets to deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations, enabling leaders to make informed business decisions. Working closely with stakeholders across departments, you will need to identify improvement opportunities, implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, and support the delivery of key business initiatives while serving as a technical expert, contributing to multiple projects, ensuring the timely deployment of new applications, and maintaining compliance with the organisation's policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed analytical reports and dashboards to provide visibility into key business performance metrics.
• Responsible for documenting business processes, workflows, and requirements through detailed process maps, SOPs, and functional specifications.
• Manipulate and interpret complex data sets to deliver clear, actionable insights and recommendations for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business leaders to design and implement data models that support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
• Serve as a technical expert, providing analytical support across multiple departments.
• Build and maintain analytical data sets to monitor and drive improvements in business performance.

• Leverage analytics to inform and influence strategic, value-driven business decisions.

•  Conduct investigations, develop reports, and present findings with recommendations to improve business processes and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

• Atleast 3 years of experience in an analyst role
• Worked in complex businesses where you have an understanding of creating of Financial Models and expert at Excel
• CA/CPA qualification is preferred
• Stakeholder management experience and good communication skills
