In South Australia, the business spans a range of sites and operational contexts. HR support is tailored based on local needs, creating a role rich in variety and impact. You’ll lead regional HR delivery while staying connected to national peers and broader people initiatives.
Reporting to the Senior HR Manager and working closely with the Divisional General Manager, this is a visible and hands-on role. You’ll manage the full generalist remit from employee relations and coaching to workforce planning and organisational change.
Responsibilities
Act as the primary HR contact for SA, building strong relationships with leaders and staff
Support line managers with employee relations, performance, workforce planning and organisational change
Deliver onboarding, induction and compliance processes in partnership with leaders
Contribute to national projects and people initiatives alongside the wider team
Coach and support managers to strengthen capability and embed good HR practice
Manage local HR processes including policy advice, injury management and remuneration reviews
Provide insights and feedback to inform continuous improvement and broader HR strategy
Foster a collaborative, inclusive and safety-focused culture
Candidate Profile
You’re a capable HR professional who enjoys variety, thrives in a relationship-driven role, and brings a practical, solutions-focused mindset. You’re confident providing advice, calm under pressure, and able to build credibility across a range of stakeholders.
You’ll bring:
• Generalist HR experience, including employee relations and performance support
• The confidence to operate with autonomy while remaining closely connected to your team
• A practical and professional approach, with the ability to influence at all levels
• Flexibility to travel regionally as needed (Approximately 1 day per month plus ad-hoc requirements).
