Role Overview

Reporting into the AR Manager, this Accounts Receivable Officer will be responsible for end-to-end AR functions across a large and diverse customer base. On a daily basis, you will manage invoicing, collections, and account reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Weekly, you will follow up on outstanding debts, build relationships with customers, and work closely with internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies. On a monthly basis, you will assist with reporting, cash flow forecasting, and month-end close activities.

 This role plays a critical part in maintaining healthy cash flow and supporting the broader finance function. You will contribute to process improvements, help optimise AR systems, and support the business through periods of growth and transformation. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to a fast-scaling SaaS environment and develop your technical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end accounts receivable processing including invoicing and collections
• Manage and reduce aged debtors while maintaining strong client relationships
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve billing discrepancies
• Process cash allocations and ensure accurate record keeping
• Assist with month-end close, reporting, and cash flow forecasting
• Collaborate with sales and customer success teams to resolve payment issues
• Identify and drive process improvements within AR function
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with internal controls

Candidate Profile

You are a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable professional with experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within a SaaS or technology business. You have strong end-to-end AR experience, including collections, reconciliations, and stakeholder engagement. Comfortable working with large data sets and modern ERP systems, you bring excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to managing outstanding accounts. You are adaptable, solutions-focused, and thrive in a growing, dynamic business environment.
