Role Overview

This role is centred around understanding how the business operates day to day across supply chain, service, operations and customer functions, then helping improve, standardise and align those processes across the organisation. Working closely with operational stakeholders, you will facilitate workshops, map current state processes, identify inefficiencies and help establish more scalable and consistent ways of working across a highly distributed environment.

The position is highly embedded within the business and requires someone who enjoys being on the ground with stakeholders rather than operating purely from a systems or technical perspective. You will work closely with leaders across operations, supply chain and commercial functions to understand practical business challenges, guide conversations and drive alignment around future state processes and operational improvements.

While the role does contribute to a broader ERP transformation program, the primary focus is on process maturity, operational readiness and business engagement rather than technical system delivery. ERP related activities will include supporting business requirements, contributing to discovery and helping ensure future technology decisions reflect how the business genuinely operates.

Responsibilities

• Lead business process mapping and documentation across operational functions
• Facilitate workshops and process walkthroughs with stakeholders across the business
• Identify operational inefficiencies and drive practical process improvement initiatives
• Work closely with operational and commercial leaders to understand business challenges and requirements
• Support future state process design and business alignment activities
• Standardise business processes and establish consistent operational frameworks
• Contribute to ERP readiness and discovery activities from a business process perspective
• Develop process maps, workflows and business documentation artefacts
• Drive stakeholder engagement and build alignment across multiple business functions
• Embed a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence across the organisation

Candidate Profile

You are a classically trained, business facing Business Analyst, Process Analyst or continuous improvement professional who enjoys understanding how organisations operate at a practical level. Rather than being heavily technical or systems focused, your strength lies in engaging with stakeholders, improving processes and helping businesses operate more effectively across day to day operations.

You have experience working within operationally complex environments such as retail, logistics, distribution, healthcare, warehousing or service based industries. You are commercially minded, pragmatic and capable of balancing stakeholder expectations while driving structured outcomes. Exposure to inventory driven environments and large operational workforces will be highly regarded.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement capability is essential, as this role requires someone who can guide workshops, challenge thinking constructively and build trust across both frontline operations and senior leadership teams. Exposure to ERP transformation programs is beneficial, however this is not a deeply technical ERP role and is better suited to someone with a strong operational and process improvement background.
