Role Overview

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with a Reporting Manager, this role will be responsible for the preparation of the month-end, including P&L preparation, accounting journals, AASB adjustments, accruals, bank reconciliations and supporting the budgeting and forecasting activities.

Responsibilities

• Month end tasks - P&L preparation, journals, adjustments, accruals
• Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Fixed Asset Register
• BAS, Payroll Taxes
• Assist with Budgets and Forecasts
• Support the half year and year-end audit processes

Candidate Profile

This role will suit a highly energetic and proactive candidate who is CA / CPA Qualified and comes from a complex environment (listed or ANZ / APAC subsidiary of an overseas parent company) and looking to progress their career in a growing corporate business. With strong communication skills you will shape positive working relationships and can make progress in a fast-paced environment. A passion for continuous improvement and taking things to the next level expected with ERP systems skills and MS Excel to a sensible level. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) is highly regarded.
