Role Overview

The Atlassian Platform Specialist is an enterprise-wide technical leader operating in a dynamic and strategically critical environment. This role is pivotal to ASC’s digital transformation, directly influencing business agility, operational excellence, and long-term technology strategy.

The Atlassian Platform Specialist is responsible for managing and optimising ASC’s Atlassian product suite, which includes Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Assets and a range of authorised plug-ins.

Responsibilities

• Extensive experience administering Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence within Atlassian Data Center environments.
• Advanced skills in workflow design, permission management, scripting (Groovy, ScriptRunner, REST API, JavaScript).
• Lead the migration from Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud.
• Proficient in API integration, secure data exchange, and Assets schema design.
• Deliver solutions that improve collaboration and operational efficiency.

 You are highly energetic and entrepreneurial in your thinking, wishing to be in a critical role driving performance for a business. To succeed in this role requires strong technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and excellent communication skills. The specialist is expected to provide strategic input, deliver business analysis, and support remote work, demonstrating autonomy and adaptability in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
