Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join its finance team for a contract from 1 December 2026 to 11 January 2027. This is a hands-on role processing approximately 100 invoices per day, covering invoice matching, batching and coding, resolving queries and supporting payment runs.

You’ll join a collaborative finance team where accuracy and turnaround times matter. Strong hands-on Oracle experience is essential, along with the ability to pick up existing processes quickly and contribute with minimal ramp-up time. You’ll work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to keep invoices moving and meet processing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume supplier invoices end to end, approximately 100 per day.
• Match, batch and code invoices accurately using Oracle.
• Resolve invoice queries with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure invoices are processed in line with company policies and deadlines.
• Support payment runs and general accounts payable administration.
• Assist with month-end tasks where required.

Candidate Profile

You’re an experienced Accounts Payable Officer with a proven background in high-volume processing and strong hands-on Oracle experience, which is essential for this role. You’re comfortable managing around 100 invoices a day while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. You communicate clearly with suppliers and internal teams, learn new processes quickly and stay organised when priorities compete. You’ll be available for an assignment from 1 December 2026 to 11 January 2027 and confident stepping into a busy AP function with minimal ramp-up time.
