Salary Package: $125 - $130K + Super

Role Overview
Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager this role is being recruited to cover a maternity leave. There is fluidity in this team as it is often seen as an entry point to the business and has a history of converting candidates onto permanent contracts. This role will be key in contributing to the Year End and Half-Year Close as well as being involved in process improvement projects around financial reporting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain exposure in an ASX listed business and work within a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of the annual report and half-year report to an external release standard
- Presentation of Financial Reports and Accounting papers to Audit & Risk Committee
- Review monthly financial statements of wholly owned subsidiaries
- Balance Sheet reconciliation and preparation of monthly journals
- Ad-hoc reporting improvement projects
Candidate Profile
This role is a brilliant opportunity for a CA Qualified Accountant with Big 4 training to pick up technical Accounting responsibilities. If you have previous exposure of any process or reporting improvement projects this will be viewed positively.
