Role Highlights
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role is focused on leading finance operations nationally. You will take ownership of payroll, accounts payable, fixed assets and core month-end processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information across the group. The role also includes leading a small team and supporting consistency in processes and outputs. This is a newly created position, reflecting growth and a shift toward a more structured and centralised model. As a result, there is scope to contribute to how finance operates, including systems, processes and ways of working over time.

The organisation is evolving its finance structure to better support scale, with a focus on building capability, strengthening processes and creating a more centralised approach to finance operations.

Responsibilities
• Lead finance operations nationally
• Oversee payroll, including review, approvals and statutory compliance
• Manage accounts payable processes, including vendor management and payments
• Own month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations and reporting
• Oversee fixed asset management, including capitalisation and depreciation
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and timeliness of financial information
• Support process improvement and consistency across finance operations
• Lead and develop a small team, including upskilling and cross-skilling
• Work with stakeholders across finance and operations

Candidate Profile
• CA or CPA qualified with 2+ years post-qualification experience
• Experience leading finance operations within a medium-sized business
• Strong exposure to month-end processes, with oversight of payroll
• Ability to operate both at a leadership and hands-on level
• Proven people leadership experience
• Comfortable working across multiple entities and a growing business environment
• Strong Excel capability and ability to work across systems
