Role Overview
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will work hand in hand to hand to establish piercing and insightful management reporting for the business leaders. 50% of your role as the Finance Business Partner will see you playing a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process and will see you take a lead role in major business projects. The other 50% of your role will see you involved in supporting month-end reporting, commercial tenders and KPI reporting. This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate looking to further expand and develop their Finance Business Partnering experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare month-end analysis and reporting on financial performance and key performance drivers of the business including investigation and follow-up of material variances.
  • Establish sound relationships with business contacts for the cooperative monitoring of performance and the implementation of change.
  • Preparation of Budget & Forecasts. Construct robust data-based forecasts that reflect business objectives, drawing attention to trend analysis, underlying assumptions coupled with revenue, cost, and capital insights.
  • Generate presentations and reporting packages involving revenue and expense for budget, forecast and actuals.
  • Improve and automate existing reporting and introduce new reporting where necessary.
  • Assist with BI tool implementation.
  • Take a lead role in process improvement and systems enhancement initiatives.
  • Prepare commercial & domestic tender pricing models.
  • Prepare periodic pricing adjustments required for commercial and domestic customers.
  • Prepare and report on any ad hoc analysis identified by business

Candidate Profile
You are highly energetic and with effective communication at the centre of your success. You hold an Accounting degree and have completed your CA or CPA.  You have a strong understanding of a large P&L Ideally coming out of a heavy operational organisation. You are flexible in working through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for continuous improvement as taking things to the next level is at the core of who you are. Your leadership and stakeholder engagement skills will ensure your success with experience partnering with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
