Role Overview 

Reporting into the P&C Manager, this Internal Communications Lead will be responsible for spearheading transformative communication initiatives, including optimising the main internal email channel to enhance recipient experience, leveraging audit findings to drive improvements and evolution across various channels.

Opportunity to implement global initiatives and tailor them for the Adelaide team, revolutionising the way the business engages cross-divisionally. Additionally, serve as a catalyst in expanding local Women in STEM and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, further strengthening community impact.

 

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and execute comprehensive internal communication strategies to engage stakeholders and drive alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement initiatives, fostering strong relationships and facilitating effective collaboration across divisions.
  • Implement innovative technologies and digital platforms to enhance communication channels and optimise employee engagement.
  • Oversee event management activities, ensuring seamless execution and impactful delivery of key messages to diverse audiences.
  • Lead Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, championing initiatives to foster a more inclusive and equitable workplace culture.

 

Candidate Profile 

  • Experience in internal communications and stakeholder engagement essential.
  • Proven track record of driving engagement changes and implementing new technologies.
  • Proficient in working within SharePoint.
  • Aptitude for innovation and improvement, particularly in articulating and delivering programs across Women in STEM and DEI.
  • Strong digital skills, including updating website content and developing template guidelines.
  • Capacity to build systems, set expectations, and lead initiatives to inform the business of necessary actions.
  • Dynamic approach to tasks and challenges.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with various functional teams.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced environment where quick response and action are essential.
  • Proficiency in media and external-facing communications is essential.

 

While not a prerequisite, candidates with a background or qualification in change management are preferred.
