Role Overview

Reporting into the Financial Controller, this Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing Accounts Receivable and Payable operations entails compiling reports, reconciling accounts, and collaborating with the Financial Controller to deliver monthly profit results and management reports efficiently. This role will give you the opportunity to provide business and financial advice to key stakeholders in the business. 


Responsibilities 

•    Ensure accurate and timely reporting according to predetermined finance timetables.
•    Input, generate, and print all monthly reports in line with finance timetable requirements.
•    Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts.
•    Aid in processing customer orders and cover sales coordinator duties during staff absences or as needed.
•    Record monthly KPI statistics consistently.
•    Coordinate with Credit Insurer to manage current limits effectively.
•    Execute the complete Accounts Receivable function, including invoicing, credit notes, collections, and cash flow forecasting.
•    Support Financial Controller in developing and updating departmental procedure manuals.
•    Drive continuous improvement efforts to reduce or eliminate incorrect account allocations.
•    Serve as backup for payroll processing for both weekly and monthly paid employees.
•    Provide backup assistance for reception duties when necessary.
•    Undertake any other delegated duties or responsibilities assigned by the Financial Controller as needed.

Candidate Profile 

You have extensive experience performing Accounts Receivable duties. The successful candidate will be expected to approach their work systematically, following established procedures with precision to ensure efficiency. You should actively address issues and problems faced by both internal and external customers, striving to resolve them promptly and effectively. You should also demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, constantly seeking ways to enhance company work processes and outcomes. By embodying these qualities, you contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation within the organization, fostering growth and advancement for themselves and their colleagues.
