Role Overview:

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will be instrumental in supporting the delivery of key technology projects that align with the company’s ambitious energy transformation goals. Daily responsibilities include managing project timelines, coordinating meetings, and maintaining comprehensive documentation to keep initiatives on track. You’ll play a critical role in change management by identifying impacts, supporting transitions, and delivering training to ensure adoption.

This position offers the chance to make a genuine impact in a collaborative and innovative team environment. You’ll act as a conduit between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective delivery. Your proactive approach will contribute to the success of renewable energy projects that support Australia’s net zero objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and track project activities, ensuring alignment with timelines and goals.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including schedules and reports.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Assist in change management planning and execution, ensuring smooth transitions.
  • Support vendor selection, onboarding, and performance monitoring.
  • Oversee vendor deliverables to meet project objectives and standards.
  • Identify risks, escalate issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to optimise project delivery.

Candidate Profile:

You bring a strong background in IT project coordination or management, coupled with a passion for renewable energy. With over five years of experience, you’ve honed your skills in managing complex projects and collaborating with diverse teams. Your familiarity with methodologies like Agile and Waterfall, coupled with proficiency in tools like Jira and MS Project, ensures you can hit the ground running. 

Your ability to manage stakeholder relationships, combined with exceptional communication and organisational skills, sets you apart. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by contributing to a sustainable future. A Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field is essential for success in this role.
