Job Description

Location: Eastern Creek, Western Sydney
Salary Package: $160k - $170k + Super + Bonus
Role Highlights: Own the national franchise portfolio for AUS & NZ. Be the go-to expert in compliance, contracts, and operational support. Big shoes to fill –  but you won’t do it alone.

Role Overview
You will be joining one of Australia’s most established franchise networks with a fantastic brand. This isn’t your typical “make friends and influence franchisees” kind of role. This is about protecting the system that underpins the business, keeping the engine running, and helping franchisees do what they do best – sell with confidence.

Reporting directly to the MD, you’ll be supported by a skilled Franchise Administrator and a broader national team. You’ll also have a proper handover from the current Franchise Manager (after numerous years in the role) before they transition into a senior global position. You’ll manage compliance, oversee new franchisees, oversee contracts and renewals, and ensure alignment with the Franchise Code of Conduct. You’ll also be a key voice in governance, operations, and keeping the brand strong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage compliance and franchise governance across 150+ franchisees in AUS & NZ
  • Own franchise documentation, disclosure statements, renewals, terminations, and contracts
  • Maintain the Franchise Operations Manual and support cross-functional process improvements
  • Mediate disputes, disciplinary processes, and support debt recovery with the CFO’s team
  • Represent the company at events and in broader franchise industry forums
  • Ensure compliance with evolving Australian regulations and global (US) policies

Candidate Profile

You’re calm, credible, and know your way around a franchise agreement. You’ve worked with franchisees before, maybe in automotive, retail, or another operationally heavy sector. You're not a lawyer, but you understand the legal landscape. You know how to hold your ground with confidence and care, and you're across the Franchise Code of Conduct like it's second nature.

You’ve worked in a franchisee support or compliance role before and now want to join a mature, highly respected franchise model where you can make your mark.

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in franchising in a similar role (retail, automotive, or services)
  • Understands the Franchise Code of Conduct and has worked with it in practice
  • Can manage legal and contractual obligations (no law degree needed – just the experience)
  • Understands commercial risk and how to interpret financials and franchisee viability
  • Is a confident communicator – firm, fair, and empathetic
  • Has high attention to detail and experience working with structured documentation
  • Wants to be part of a company with long-term stability and reputation

Culture & Benefits

You will be joining a quiet achiever. With 100+ employees, a $200M business across ANZ, and some of the longest tenures in the industry, they are a serious brand with substance.
The company offers a supportive and engaging environment that empowers you to grow your expertise while taking on exciting challenges.

  • Global Manufacturing Leader; Renowned Brand; Global Reach
  • Permanent full-time leadership role
  • Salary: $160k – $170k (Negotiable) + Super + 5% Bonus
  • Eastern Creek Area, Western Sydney. With 1-day WFH available
  • Long-tenured leadership team with strong US and local support
  • Rare chance to take over the reins and shape the franchise function, with a detailed handover from your predecessor who is staying in the business
  • Work with passionate franchisees who value support and structure
