Role Overview
Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role plays a key part in supporting finance operations across multiple entities. You will gain hands-on experience across project accounting, systems improvement, and core accounting functions while partnering with stakeholders across finance and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support project accounting activities including job costing, WIP, accruals, and variance analysis

• Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and forecasts

• Maintain accurate and reconciled workpapers to support audits and compliance

• Process and post transactions across AP, AR, and General Ledger

• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities

• Assist with month-end close, including journals, accruals, and prepayments

• Maintain data integrity across finance systems and ERP platforms

• Partner with operational stakeholders to resolve queries and improve processes

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and reporting enhancements

Candidate Profile
You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline and have at least 2+ years of relevant accounting experience. Exposure to construction, project accounting, or job costing environments will be highly regarded. You are detail-oriented, systems-savvy, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. You are confident communicating with stakeholders and enjoy improving processes and systems. Progress toward CA/CPA (or intention to commence) is highly desirable.
