Role Overview Reporting to a senior broker, you will support on an established SME to mid-market general insurance portfolio with the long-term expectation to take ownership of your own book when ready. You will be exposed to a broad range of clients and products, with regular insurer engagement designed to sharpen your technical knowledge.

This role suits a broker early in their career who is serious about developing into a well-rounded account manager. The firm invests in its people through regular product sessions and hands-on mentorship.

Responsibilities

  • Support a senior broker across an SME to mid-market general insurance portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive servicing
  • Attend regular insurer presentations to develop technical product knowledge
  • Meet clients in person or virtually based on portfolio requirements
  • Work toward taking ownership of your own portfolio over time

Candidate Profile You have 1 to 3 years of general insurance broking experience and are looking for an environment where you can genuinely develop. Tier 1 qualified is preferred but not essential. You are client-focused, comfortable in an in-office culture and motivated to grow a quality book over time. You thrive in a team environment and are keen to learn from experienced brokers who take mentorship seriously.
