Job Description

Role Overview

This is a high-impact contract opportunity for an experienced Integration Manager to take full ownership of a post-acquisition integration program — from Day 1 readiness through to long-term operating model transition. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Business Transformation & Growth, you will translate acquisition strategy into an executable program, establish governance frameworks, and drive delivery across all workstreams with pace and precision.

In this role you will lead the design and evaluation of target operating model options; including full integration, separate brand preservation, or hybrid structures — presenting structured, evidence-based recommendations to the Integration Steering Committee. You will actively manage risk across clinical quality, customer experience, and value realisation, while championing cultural integration and employee engagement across both organisations.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end design and delivery of the integration program across all phases (Day 1, Day 100, and longer-term transition)
  • Lead the design and evaluation of target operating model scenarios and provide structured recommendations to the Steering Committee
  • Establish and oversee all integration workstreams, clarifying scope, deliverables and accountabilities
  • Manage interdependencies proactively; escalate blockers early and decisively
  • Implement and maintain fit-for-purpose governance, risk and reporting frameworks
  • Drive delivery of integration benefits, near-term wins and longer-term synergies, tracked against the business case
  • Lead the change management approach, ensuring successful adoption of new processes, systems and ways of working
  • Build and sustain relationships across executive, business unit, workstream and acquired business stakeholders

Candidate Profile

You are a seasoned integration professional equally comfortable setting strategic direction and rolling up your sleeves to resolve delivery blockers. You bring demonstrated experience leading post-merger or post-acquisition integration programs in complex, regulated environments, ideally healthcare or allied health and have a strong track record designing target operating models across a range of structural scenarios. Your ability to engage and influence at executive level is matched by your rigour in governance, risk management, and value realisation reporting. A relevant postgraduate qualification and certifications such as PMP, MSP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.

Culture & Benefits

Join a purpose-driven organisation making a meaningful difference in the lives of Australians. This is a high-profile contract role with genuine executive exposure and the opportunity to shape the future operating model of a growing healthcare business.

  • Make an impact — lead a program that shapes the future of a national healthcare organisation
  • Executive exposure — direct line to GM and Steering Committee from day one
  • Meaningful work — operate at the intersection of strategy and delivery in a purpose-led environment
