Working alongside an experienced finance leadership team, you'll help strengthen reporting, budgeting and commercial analysis while partnering closely with operational stakeholders across the business. As the finance function continues to evolve, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to process improvements, build capability and become a trusted commercial partner rather than simply producing month-end reports.

Continued growth has created the need to further strengthen the finance team, with an ongoing focus on improving systems, reporting and commercial decision support.

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll work across a broad range of responsibilities including:
• Preparing monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Delivering meaningful financial analysis and commercial insights
• Partnering with operational stakeholders to support business decision making
• Monitoring project performance, costs and profitability
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and financial controls
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function

Candidate Profile

• You may already be working as a Management Accountant within industry, or perhaps you're looking to make your first move from public practice into a commercial environment.
• We're looking for someone with strong accounting fundamentals, advanced Excel skills and a genuine interest in understanding how a business operates beyond the numbers.
• CA or CPA qualification, or working towards, will be highly regarded.
• Experience within construction, property, manufacturing, mining or another project-based environment will be viewed favourably, however it isn't essential.
• Just as importantly, you're commercially curious, enjoy building relationships and are comfortable working in a business that is continuing to evolve.
• You take ownership, communicate confidently with stakeholders and enjoy improving processes rather than simply maintaining them.

The role offers a salary between $110,000-$130,000+ super, together with a discretionary bonus after a qualifying period and some flexibility for life's commitments where required.
