Role Highlights:

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a high-performing finance team delivering one of the organisation's most significant transformation initiatives. Working on a major SAP S/4HANA implementation, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring finance data is cleansed, validated and migration-ready ahead of critical project milestones. Working alongside experienced finance, technology and project professionals, you will gain invaluable exposure to a large-scale ERP transformation while making a tangible impact on business success.

Role Overview

Reporting into the Finance Transformation team, you will take ownership of the preparation, validation and reconciliation of financial data required for migration into a new SAP ERP platform. Working closely with Finance, Technology and Project stakeholders, you will analyse large datasets, resolve data quality issues and ensure master data is complete, accurate and aligned with project requirements. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include data cleansing, reconciliation, testing and supporting migration activities across multiple finance workstreams.

Beyond the technical responsibilities, this role offers the opportunity to become a key contributor to a complex finance transformation program. You will collaborate with finance leaders and subject matter experts to improve data quality, support system testing and help deliver a successful ERP implementation. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys combining finance, systems and analytical thinking within a project environment.

Responsibilities

  • Cleanse, analyse and validate finance data to ensure migration readiness.
  • Reconcile financial information and investigate data discrepancies across multiple systems.
  • Maintain and improve master data, including vendors, customers, fixed assets, cost centres and profit centres.
  • Support finance data migration activities into SAP S/4HANA.
  • Assist with mapping legacy financial data to new ERP structures.
  • Perform reconciliation and validation of migrated data during testing cycles.
  • Partner with finance stakeholders to resolve data quality issues and improve governance.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), documentation and business readiness activities.
  • Prepare reports highlighting project progress, risks and outstanding data issues.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across finance processes and systems.

Candidate Profile

You are an analytical finance professional who enjoys working with complex datasets and solving business problems. You have developed strong finance fundamentals through financial reporting, accounting or audit, and are excited by the opportunity to work on a large-scale ERP transformation project. You thrive in collaborative environments and are confident communicating with both finance and technology stakeholders.

To be successful, you will bring experience working with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA, along with exposure to ERP implementations, finance transformation or data migration initiatives. You will have approximately 3-5 years' experience in Financial Reporting, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting or Audit, ideally within a Big 4 Chartered Accounting firm or a large corporate environment. Advanced Excel skills, exceptional attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving will set you apart.
