Join a large, established organisation undergoing a significant finance transformation journey. This is a hands-on opportunity to play a key role in supporting a global ERP implementation, improving finance processes, and ensuring successful system and data transition.

Role Overview

Reporting to senior finance transformation stakeholders, this Finance Transformation Specialist will support the delivery of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation. You will be responsible for data readiness, cleansing, validation, system mapping and supporting finance process improvements to ensure a successful transition to the new ERP environment.

Working closely with finance teams, business stakeholders and technology teams, you will help identify gaps, analyse data integrity, and support the implementation of improved processes and automation initiatives. This role will suit someone who enjoys working with complex datasets, solving problems and contributing to meaningful business change.

Responsibilities

• Support finance data migration activities including profiling, cleansing, validation and reconciliation.
• Review and analyse financial data sets to identify discrepancies, anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with mapping legacy finance processes and data structures into future-state ERP requirements.
• Support SAP S/4HANA implementation activities including testing, documentation and issue resolution.
• Partner with finance stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and continuity of reporting throughout the transformation.
• Conduct variance analysis and investigate data quality issues across finance systems.
• Contribute to finance automation initiatives, including emerging technologies such as AI and RPA.
• Assist with user testing, training materials and supporting business adoption of new processes.
• Work collaboratively with project teams, finance SMEs and technology stakeholders.
• Provide updates on project progress, risks, dependencies and key milestones.

Candidate Profile

You will be an experienced finance professional with a strong accounting foundation and exposure to finance transformation, ERP implementation or system improvement projects. A background in financial accounting, audit or reporting will be highly regarded, with the ability to understand complex financial processes and translate business requirements into system outcomes.

You will have demonstrated experience working with SAP environments, ideally SAP S/4HANA, and be comfortable managing large volumes of financial data. Your analytical mindset, attention to detail and ability to build strong stakeholder relationships will allow you to succeed in a fast-paced transformation environment.
