Role Overview

Reporting into a supportive finance team, this position will focus on improving the quality, accuracy and integrity of customer account information across multiple systems. On a daily basis, you will review records, identify inconsistencies, update customer information and ensure data is maintained in line with business requirements. You will also provide administrative support to the Accounts Receivable function and assist with general finance-related activities as required.

This project plays an important role in improving operational efficiency and ensuring the business maintains accurate customer information. Your contribution will directly support the success of the finance team by reducing inaccuracies, strengthening reporting capability and enhancing customer account management processes. The role offers an excellent pathway for individuals seeking hands-on experience within a large corporate finance environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and update customer account information across internal systems

• Cleanse and validate large volumes of customer and financial data

• Identify and investigate discrepancies, errors and duplicate records

• Support the maintenance of accurate customer master data

• Assist the Accounts Receivable team with administrative activities

• Perform data entry tasks with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail

• Support account reconciliations and record maintenance activities

• Liaise with internal stakeholders to obtain and verify information

• Ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with company procedures

• Contribute to process improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle

Candidate Profile

You will bring previous administration experience coupled with strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable working with large datasets, you possess solid data entry capabilities and enjoy completing tasks accurately and efficiently. Your intermediate communication skills allow you to work effectively with a range of internal stakeholders while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

The successful candidate will have a proactive attitude, a willingness to learn and a genuine interest in developing finance-related skills. Exposure to Excel and confidence working with systems will be highly regarded.
