Role Highlights:

This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to play a critical role in financial systems management and provide strategic insights through data analysis. Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager you will be at the forefront of system optimization and provide decision-making support for corporate projects

Role Overview

As a Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing financial systems like Adaptive Insights, ensuring the accuracy of financial data, and providing regular reporting on key metrics. This includes preparing detailed trend analyses and financial forecasts, ensuring that all reporting systems and data sources are aligned with business objectives. You will also work closely with key stakeholders such as sales, marketing, IT, and supply chain to ensure alignment between financial performance and business goals

Your key contributions will include managing data extraction and reporting processes, utilizing tools like Power BI and ERP systems to provide in-depth analysis on financial performance. You will also play a vital role in corporate projects, helping to streamline financial reporting processes, optimize system performance, and support senior leadership in driving strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and troubleshoot financial systems (e.g. Workday, Adaptive Insights) for Month-End, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
  • Ensure data integrity across systems, resolving issues promptly to minimize disruption.
  • Support system upgrades, integrations, and testing to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and KPIs using Power BI and other reporting tools.
  • Provide timely financial data extraction and in-depth analysis for business decision-making.
  • Monitor and ensure data consistency across multiple systems and tools to provide reliable reporting outputs.
  • Collaborate on corporate projects, providing in-depth data analysis and support for system implementations and reporting needs.
  • Generate ad-hoc financial reports using QAD, Power BI, or Adaptive Insights to assist with key project deliverables.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution and reporting.
  • Use financial systems to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis
  • Perform trend analysis and financial modeling to inform business decisions and ensure alignment with company objectives. 

Candidate Profile

You are a data-driven, technically skilled Finance Analyst with experience in managing financial systems and using business intelligence tools. With at least 3+ years of experience in financial systems management, you have hands-on expertise in tools like Adaptive Insights, Power BI, and Excel to process large data sets and generate meaningful insights. Your ability to work across teams, synthesize complex data, and deliver actionable insights to stakeholders is critical. You hold a degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics and ideally possess a CPA/CA qualification. Experience in system upgrades and ERP tools is highly desirable
