Salary: $85k - $100k + Super + Bonus

Role Overview
As the Production Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing site that prides itself on teamwork, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll collaborate with a small leadership team to ensure production runs smoothly.
This is a hands-on role that offers a clear path to a leadership position, making it ideal for someone eager to grow and take ownership.
Expect to spend your time between the production floor and the production office, liaising with production operators, managing stock, and handling production schedules. Your efforts will directly impact the efficiency and success of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage production plan, schedule and orders. (SAP & Excel)
- Generate and manage purchase orders for delivery of materials and stock, including receipt in/out
- Collaborate with production operators and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, cycle counts, pre-empting potential issues.
- Provide visibility on material costs
- Support & suggest continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, transport and head office.
- Help cover dispatch duties if needed.
- Participate in daily catchups with the leadership team.
Candidate Profile
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing, particularly if you’ve progressed from the production floor into a coordination, planning, or supervisory role.
You’re someone who:
- Thrives on taking initiative and ownership.
- Computer savvy, experience with ERP systems like SAP (or similar) and Excel.
- Understands the dynamics of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Great communication skills and the ability to build relationships
- A proactive, can-do attitude, a drive to learn, and one day step into a sueprvisor role
- Drivers licence and own transport (there is no public transport)
