Responsibilities

Reporting to the Finance Manager, your role will be diverse and will continue to evolve as the business grows. Key areas include:

• Consolidate cost data and conduct variance analysis to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Prepare monthly business reports with detailed commentary on financial performance.
• Collaborate with functional leads to develop, monitor, and refine budgets and forecasts.
• Maintain and enhance financial models to support planning and forecasting activities.
• Deliver insights and recommendations through analysis and presentation packs for senior leadership.
• Provide financial guidance to stakeholders, ensuring informed decision-making aligned with business goals.
• Drive digital transformation and process improvements to enhance financial workflows.
• Support team development by providing mentorship and professional guidance.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a qualified CA or CPA (or equivalent) with proven experience as a Management Accountant in a mid to large organisation. They will demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, showing the ability to challenge assumptions and contribute beyond simply following processes. Collaborative and results-focused, they will possess a natural curiosity and the confidence to question and innovate. Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling them to engage effectively with stakeholders and provide valuable financial insights that drive decision-making.
