Role Overview
Reporting to the Procurement Coordinator, the Procurement Officer will manage administrative procurement functions, including contractor onboarding, purchase order processing, and compliance monitoring. You may also be asked to assist with the Accounts Payable function, and can contribute in system upgrades/implementation.
This is a fast-paced, detail-focused role ideal for a professional with strong organisation skills and experience in procurement, administration, or contract management. Immediate start is preferred.
Responsibilities
• Coordinate procurement requests, obtain quotes, and raise purchase orders
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date contractor records
• Ensure all contractors meet NDIS, aged care, and internal compliance standards
• Use internal systems to track and document procurement activities
• Support monthly reporting and audit processes
• Work cross-functionally with service and customer care teams to ensure delivery excellence
• Identify and contribute to process improvements within the procurement function
• Adhere to WHS and quality standards in line with organisational and sector requirements
Candidate Profile
You are a capable and organised administrator or procurement support professional who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment. Experience in the healthcare, disability or aged care sectors is advantageous, but not essential.
You will have:
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent time management and attention to detail
• Confidence working across multiple systems and managing records
• An understanding of compliance standards in a regulated environment
• Ability to work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
