Role Overview
This senior-level role plays a key part within the claiming function, providing guidance and support to a team of Claiming Specialists. You will ensure accurate, compliant, and timely claiming under Support at Home and NDIS programs, contribute to funding reform initiatives and system transitions, and maintain revenue integrity. The role offers exposure to complex government-funded aged care and disability claiming processes, giving you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organisation’s operations during this important transition period.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complex, high-risk, and escalated claims across Support at Home and NDIS funding streams.
- Review care plans, service agreements, service delivery records, and supporting documentation to validate eligibility and accurate claiming.
- Approve claims, adjustments, and resubmissions within delegated authority.
- Investigate and resolve rejected, adjusted, or disputed claims with Services Australia, the NDIA, and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance, coaching, and training to operational, finance, and care teams.
- Maintain system and data integrity across client management, billing, and finance systems (Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics F&O).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, funding reform projects, and operational transitions.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve claiming issues efficiently.
- Identify, escalate, and mitigate compliance and financial risks.
- Ensure all claiming activities meet legislative, regulatory, and audit requirements.

Key experience required:
- Support at Home claiming experience
- NDIS claiming knowledge
- Homecare or aged care sector experience
- Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics F&O proficiency
