Location: Fairfield Area, Sydney  
Pay Rate: $35 - $40 per hour + super + overtime   
Role Highlights: This is not a cold sales grind. You’re speaking to existing or lapsed business customers, identifying gaps, and getting orders over the line..

Role Overview

You’ll sit within a high-performing customer & sales team, stepping in to support during a busy period. The focus is simple. Pick up the phone, have quality conversations, and convert opportunities already sitting there.

A big part of the role is following up customers who haven’t ordered, fixing half-completed orders, and identifying simple ways to increase order value. It’s structured, fast-paced, and very execution-focused.

Responsibilities

  • Make 25+ outbound calls per day to existing/lapsed customers
  • Identify gaps and secure orders or incremental sales
  • Process orders and manage basic customer queries
  • Handle inbound calls around delivery or order issues
  • Update CRM notes and track outcomes accurately
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues
  • Maintain strong, professional customer relationships

Candidate Profile

  • You’re comfortable picking up the phone, asking questions, and moving conversations forward. You bring positive energy, confidence, and a solutions mindset.
  • Some exposure to sales, customer service, or call centre environments
  • Strong communication skills. You can build rapport quickly
  • Comfortable working toward call activity and outcomes
  • Proactive, positive, and able to hit the ground running
  • Experience with CRM systems is helpful, not essential
