Claims Specialist - Cyber
Sydney CBD / WFH
$90,000 - $100,000 + super
The Role:
- Your role is to manage end to end claims, after incident response and process from lodgement to payment.
- Work alongside the Incident Response team and Head of to track and record data mapping claims trends to provide to the leadership and underwriting teams.
- With your ability to interpret policy wordings and knowing our product you are able to understand coverage and manage your clients expectations.
- Manage a portfolio of anywhere between 45 - 65 claims at any one time and have knowledge of both 1st and 3rd party claims processes.
- Handling claims from micro-SME to mid-market clients and will require you to engage via all medians (phone, email, video and face to face) to provide the best client service.
- Focus on fast, proactive service and process improvement. Ideas are welcomed to adapt and improve the service we provide.
- Records management and administration duties in line with company policy and compliance guidelines.
- There are weekly and monthly check-ins with the respective other teams to collaborate, drive productivity and report on the impact the claims team has had.
Candidate Profile:
- Experienced with at least 3 years in insurance claims, preferably cyber (this is not a must have) and/or commercial insurance product claims
- Previous experience with end-to-end claims management
- Have independently managed your own portfolio of claims
- The ability to interpret policy wordings
- Are proactive and service orientated.
- Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
